Where Biz2Gig's Inventory Actually Comes From: Our Sourcing Partner

A look at Green Gold Recycling, the textile sorting facility we source through, and how that partnership shapes what actually ends up in a Biz2Gig pack.

Where Biz2Gig's Inventory Actually Comes From: Our Sourcing Partner

Resellers ask us this more than almost anything else: where does the inventory actually come from before it lands in a pack? The honest answer starts before it ever reaches us.

Green Gold Recycling

We source through a strategic partnership with Green Gold Recycling, a textile sorting facility that processes large volumes of donated and collected clothing before it's graded for resale, rag, or export markets. That scale is what gives us access to inventory most individual resellers never see directly — we're buying from the sorting side of the supply chain, not competing with you at a thrift store rack.

What happens before a piece reaches a Biz2Gig pack

Clothing arrives at the facility in bulk, gets sorted by category and initial condition, and from there we hand-select and re-grade to our own Cream and Grade A standard before anything is packed for a customer. That second layer of grading — on top of the facility's own sorting — is what separates a Biz2Gig pack from buying an unsorted bale directly.

Why this matters for what you receive

Because the inventory is genuinely secondhand and sorted from real donated stock, exact style, brand, and size mix will vary pack to pack — that's a function of the sourcing itself, not inconsistent quality control. The grading standard is what stays consistent: Cream and Grade A only, regardless of which specific pieces end up in your pack.

How we select what goes in a pack

Beyond condition, we factor in what's actually selling across resale platforms — Depop, Poshmark, Whatnot, Vinted, and eBay — when deciding which categories and styles to prioritize, rather than just clearing whatever's sitting in inventory. Our Grade A vs Grade B breakdown goes deeper on what the grading standard actually means piece by piece, and our guide to sourcing used clothing in bulk covers how that compares to other ways resellers source inventory.
