What to Expect From a Wholesale Supplier's Guarantee (and Red Flags to Avoid)

Not every wholesale supplier stands behind what they ship. Here's what a fair guarantee actually looks like, and the red flags worth walking away from.

What to Expect From a Wholesale Supplier's Guarantee (and Red Flags to Avoid)

Buying wholesale clothing sight-unseen is a real risk — you're trusting a description and maybe a few photos before money changes hands. A supplier's guarantee policy is one of the clearest signals of whether that trust is warranted, and it's worth reading before you buy, not after something goes wrong.

What a fair guarantee usually includes

A reasonable policy gives you a real window — a week or two at minimum — to report a pack that doesn't match its description, backed by photos, with an actual remedy: a replacement, a partial refund, or a full refund depending on how far off the pack was. “Contact us” with no stated timeframe or remedy isn't a guarantee, it's a suggestion.

Red flags worth walking away from

  • “All sales final” with no quality guarantee at all. Reasonable for flash-sale clearance stock, not for a described “Grade A” wholesale pack you're buying sight-unseen.
  • A guarantee window measured in hours, not days. A 24-48 hour window doesn't account for a pack sitting at a shipping facility or the buyer being away when it arrives.
  • Vague grading language with no defined standard. If “Grade A” isn't defined anywhere on the site, there's nothing to hold the supplier to if what arrives doesn't match.
  • No real photos of shipped packs, only styled flat-lays. Styled photography tells you nothing about what an actual pack looks like out of the box.

How Biz2Gig's guarantee works

Every pack is backed by a 14-day quality guarantee: if what arrives doesn't meet the Cream/Grade A standard we describe, contact us with photos and we'll replace the pieces or refund the pack, your choice. That's on top of hand-grading every pack before it ships, which is covered in more detail in our Grade A vs Grade B guide.
